The alley is seeking a part time Business Manager for approximately 10-20 hours per month.
The Business Manager will conduct and oversee tasks related to managing and maintaining the business and administrative operations of the 501c3 nonprofit organization, Alley Communications. This is a contracted position at $25 per hour.

Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and project management skills and experience working with economically and culturally diverse communities and individuals.
- Excellent skills in meeting deadlines, task management, and adaptability.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, including ways of communicating effectively within the diversity of the Phillips Community, both written and verbally.
- Experience with producing and maintaining spreadsheets in either Excel or Google sheets.
- Previous administrative or light bookkeeping experience in a for profit or nonprofit organization.
- Strong relationship-building skills demonstrated by successful experience in collaborating on projects or working collectively.
- An ethic and orientation that recognizes the value and dignity of each person and strives to create conditions that support people, assists in engaging people to participate in the organization, and builds relationships to insure a community-building spirit within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for community driven media and experience working with print media.
- Experience with a volunteer-driven nonprofit environment, preferably within the Phillips Community.
- Experience with sales, marketing, and/or promotion.
