Wrapping utility boxes

Lake Street Council is working with the City of Minneapolis to wrap City-owned utility boxes with eye-catching designs. This is a perfect way to prevent graffiti and to turn an ugly utility box into a piece of art, and we want to make this process easier for everyone involved.

The City of Minneapolis is hiring artists to design 12 pre-approved wrap covers for utility boxes. LSC is very interested giving the utility boxes on our corridor this facelift, and we are looking for businesses in the area to sponsor the wraps.

If you are interested in sponsoring a utility box near your business or property, please contact ZoeAna Martinez at 612-822-1912 today. We are still in the process of working out all the details of costs, which will be based on the number of boxes.
