I just had a chance to watch the video of the planning commission hearing on Monday, and I just want to say how proud I am of my neighbors who spoke out against the proposal with such integrity, eloquence and sensitivity toward our immigrant neighbors. I did not support the expansion but my appreciation and good will toward my Somali neighbors was so beautifully articulated by all of you who spoke. I was heartened and affirmed that I live exactly where I want to live.
