Seen Around Town August ’24
After weeks of rain, the sun and warmth finally showed up on Thursday July 11, just in time for a joint-open house held by the Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI) and the American Indian Community Development Corporation (AICDC). Attendees came out to enjoy food and conversation, topped off by fabulous tunes from local artist Downtown Jada Brown - summer has arrived! PHOTOS: Laura Hulscher Patrick Cabello Hansel, reading some of his poetry in Minneapolis Pioneers and Soldiers Memorial Cemetery at the Fourth Annual Jazz and Poetry Festival on June 29, 2024 with other y members of the Not Yet Dead Poets Society whose work appears in “The Nations Underground: Writing With Our Ancestors.” It was beautiful poetry on a beautiful day.
